Why are there 3 minutes of silence before illest motherfucker alive actually starts? It used to be secret tracks back in the day. I thought it meant he was so ill that mfs would listen. Why does illest motherf**er alive have a long pause at the start. It's the start of the deluxe edition of the album, the silence seperates it from the actual ending of the album. Meant to be a pause. Kanye/jay didn't want bonus tracks, but idj was pushing hard for a deluxe version to double dip. Their solution was to have 3 minutes of silence at the beginning of the track to differentiate. It is only available on their collaborative album watch.
